    Team Development

    Sponsoring Teamwork

This workshop prepares managers and supervisors to accept accountability for the results produced by an empowered team.  Participants learn to prepare the team’s charter/mission, identify parameters of team success and keep the team’s activities linked to the business plan.

    Facilitating Teamwork

Team leaders, who are accountable for helping a team achieve its mission through active participation and leadership, learn essential skills in this workshop.  They are effectively oriented to the requirements of their new role, which differs greatly from the requirements of the traditional supervisor.

    Achieving Teamwork

This workshop acquaints team members with the “critical few” attitudes and skills that will help them directly contribute to team effectiveness.  They learn to become productive more quickly, avoiding a trial-and-error learning experience thereby minimizing frustration and lost effort.

    Achieving Results Together

Through experiential activities, discussion and didactic presentations, this session explores the key elements and skills required to be a contributing member of an effective work group and a “team player.”

    Self-Directed Work Teams

This workshop/ seminar prepares participants to:

    • Embrace the movement to high-involvement work teams

    • Achieve a competitive edge through the development of structurally-sound, self-directed work teams

    • Assess the organization’s readiness for self-directed work team implementation

    • Make the transition work by developing and managing the implementation plan

    Building Effective Work Groups

This two-part workshop will focus on building collaboration and high performance in non-traditional work groups: cross-functional work groups, project groups, ad hoc groups, virtual work groups, etc.  Part one focuses on how to champion non-traditional work groups.  Part two focuses on the critical role managers and supervisors play in leading these non-traditional work groups.

Measuring Teamwork: The Team Health Audit

The Team Health Audit provides teams with a check-up that helps them examine how well they are maturing and developing into a cohesive unit, capable of productive work, creativity and synergy.  It also provides a way to chart their progress over time.  The Team Health Audit charges team members with the task of assessing their team.

    Flawless Facilitation

This workshop captures the visions of team concept and employee development.  Participants will begin to define and practice facilitator skills.  This workshop will be valuable for anyone who is responsible for conducting group activities.  This may include team advisors, supervisors, managers, and shop floor committee personnel.
