This workshop provides powerful processes to more effectively
manage the issues that continually confront individuals in every
industry and function. The AdvantEdge skills focus on getting
executives, managers, professionals and improvement team members to
ask the right questions and focus their thinking. The workshop
offers a valuable set of tools to complement and enhance basic
quality and continuous improvement techniques.
Improving Process Performance
In this workshop, participants learn and practice concepts,
techniques and tools that improve processes for groups and
individuals. They learn to identify, prioritize, implement and
measure process improvements in terms of cycle-time, product
reliability, overall costs, and/or other terms quantified by
process stakeholders.
Process Mapping & Improvement Strategies
This workshop teaches the skills necessary to accurately and
completely describe processes as a prelude to analysis and
improvement. Upon completion of the workshop, participants are
also able to understand the process maps of others, enabling them
to participate as a member of a team in improvement activities.
Problem Solving
This workshop is designed to help participants solve various kinds
of problems that are affecting the performance of a work function
or the overall organization. The basic problem-solving model the
participants will learn applies to both manufacturing and
non-manufacturing settings.
Benchmarking: Targeting to be the Best
In this workshop, participants will acquire skills to: appraise
their processes, products or services; develop a benchmarking plan;
conduct benchmarking activities; manage the benchmarking project
and continually assess progress to ensure success.
Confronting Effectively
This workshop is Infinite Learning’s solution to the first
line supervisor’s and manager’s need to solve problems
and resolve difficult situations through productive confrontation.
The course teaches participants to constructively and productively
meet real-life challenges faced daily in the workplace.
Creative Thinking
This module outlines a process and teaches skills to identify and
capitalize on improvement opportunities. Creative Thinking links
the creative techniques of brainstorming and other lead generation
approaches to the quality objectives and needs of the
organization. The emphasis is on practical improvement.
